Around February or March, I decided that I wanted to try and read 100 books in a year. Since the calendar year had only just started, I thought I would try and start then and finish in December. It is now, November 17th and I don't think I'm going to make it. Right now, I am at 68 books! Which is a good number, but considering how many days are left (44), it doesn't look to good.It has been a really good experience so far though. I've learned that just because books are famous, doesn't necessarily mean they are good (for example Catch-22). I've also learned that most of the time books that are on best seller list are worth trying. Like Stephenie Meyer's Twilight books and The Kite Runner. And the most important lesson of all....there is only so much room for books in the house, and it is probably a better idea to go to the library instead of buying every book you want to read.
