The Kahuku Public Library isn't open on the weekends so we had to plan a special after work excursion to the library. It took us about 45 minutes to drive there.I hate to say it, but this library smelled funky. They did have a nice, inviting children's section though. Considering that Tuesday's are the only days they open past 5PM, it was really quiet and empty. The school gym nearby was pretty busy, with lots of kids hanging out and lots of cars coming and going.
